Terms of Service

Last updated: July 23, 2026

1. About our service

apartminspect.sbs provides an online request service that helps you schedule and coordinate an electrical safety inspection (the “Service”). We may collect information from you to arrange an appointment and to communicate with you about the inspection request.

These Terms apply when you request an inspection through this website.

If you are seeking or requesting regulated electrical work in British Columbia, additional licensing disclosures may apply depending on the scope of work. Where applicable, the landing page must disclose the specific licensed contractor name and Technical Safety BC licence number and cite: Safety Standards Act, S.B.C. 1998, c. 39, section 71.1; Safety Standards General Regulation, B.C. Reg. 105/2004, section 37.

2. Appointment, inspection, and limitations

We will use reasonable efforts to schedule an inspection based on information you provide. Availability is not guaranteed.

An inspection is limited to what is accessible and observable at the time of the visit. Inspection findings are not a guarantee of safety, code compliance in all respects, or future performance.

Recommendations are intended to guide follow-up work. You remain responsible for selecting qualified trades and obtaining any required permits and approvals.

3. What you can expect from us

  • Confirmation and coordination of your requested appointment.
  • A written summary of observed conditions (to the extent provided by the inspection process).
  • Recommendations for any follow-up that may be appropriate.

We may refuse service requests when required information is missing, where access cannot be arranged, or where the request is outside the scope we can provide.

4. Cancellation and rescheduling

You may be asked to confirm appointment details. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please contact us as early as possible. Late cancellations may affect scheduling for future appointments.

We may also reschedule or cancel if we cannot access the property as agreed, if safety conditions prevent an inspection, or due to unforeseen circumstances.

5. Accuracy and non-reliance

Any reports or recommendations are based on information available during the inspection and the applicable inspection process at that time. Conditions can change after the inspection.

You should not treat inspection results as a substitute for professional engineering, legal, or regulatory advice.

6. Liability limits

To the maximum extent permitted by law, apartminspect.sbs, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid to us for the inspection request, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation would be unlawful in your jurisdiction.

7. Personal information and consent (lead requests)

If you submit a request (e.g., name, email, and phone), you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information to:

  • Contact you about scheduling and the inspection request;
  • Confirm appointment details and send service-related communications; and
  • Operate and improve our website.

Where applicable, we also obtain meaningful consent regarding the use of online tracking technologies (such as cookies and analytics/advertising pixels) in line with: Personal Information Protection Act (British Columbia), S.B.C. 2003, c. 63 (PIPA), Part 3 — Consent; Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada), S.C. 2000, c. 5 (PIPEDA), consent requirements for collection/use/disclosure.

You can generally withdraw consent or adjust communications preferences by contacting us using the details below, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.

8. Consumer dispute process

We do not include dispute-resolution or arbitration terms that would be prohibited under BC consumer-protection contract rules. Where relevant, disputes are handled in a manner consistent with: Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act (British Columbia), S.B.C. 2004, c. 2, section 14.3.

9. Website and lead-generation transparency

We aim to present accurate business information and match the promise made to you when you request an appointment. This page is intended to comply with Google Ads landing page requirements and avoid misleading representations, including: Google Ads Misrepresentation policy (Unacceptable business practices) — Landing page consistency and business information disclosure; Google Ads Landing page — final URL and landing page requirements (domain consistency).
